Meet Dr. Soyoun Park Ph.D.

Licensed Neuropsychologist (Psy24090)

Welcome to Park Psychology. In my practice, I provide individual therapy and couples counseling.  I also offer comprehensive neuropsychological assessment and traumatic brain injury (TBI) rehabilitation. I have over 18 years of psychology and neuropsychology experience working with diverse patient populations.

Before opening my private practice, I spent more than 12 years as a multidisciplinary team member at an outpatient neuropsychology counseling and rehabilitation provider, helping patients to better cope with their life stressors and achieve positive changes in their lives.

I earned my Ph.D. from the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology and a BS in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University.  My clinical training included two years of training at the Psychotherapy Institute, an APA-accredited psychology internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, and a post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at San Francisco General Hospital/UCSF.

Who Benefits from My Practice

Serving patients, families and caregivers

I work with adult patients (18 years to 99+ years old). My areas of focus are anxiety, trauma, work stress, self-esteem issues, life transitions, chronic illness, caregiver burnout, navigating cultural identities, and multigenerational conflicts.

My neuropsychological program is for adult patients who suffer from brain-related illnesses such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, autoimmune diseases, tumors, COVID-19, and neurological diseases, including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. I believe in a team model where you and your family or other caregivers play an active role.

I welcome the opportunity to work together with other medical professionals to address the unique needs of each patient and help them to achieve long-term improvement.
